The Mesmers 2006 New Years Party

Only now, as the ice packs begin to leave our collective throbbing foreheads, is the band recovering from a hugely successful New Years Party. Empty drinks litter the studio, fireworks ash scars the driveway, and fond memories swirl in our heads like a limber DC stripper around a shiny chrome pole. Highlights included:

• An over-the-top professional fireworks show (thanks Mr. C). How professional you ask? Take a look at this video PodCast. I promise you'll be impressed.
• Shadiyah the beautiful and talented belly dancer performed for us, even incorporating a lightsaber at one point.
• Fire breathers scorched the yard with twirling torches and pyrotechnic gouts of burning oil.
• And, of course, the Mesmers performed with out new in-house Mes-Miraculous™ video system that broadcast the show to the living room (a podcast of highlights will be available next week).

Thanks again to everyone who came out and rang in the New Year with us!
