In Recovery Mode

We usually try and post something interesting here on Monday mornings as that's when lot's of folks tend to tune in, but not today. The weekend was so action-packed, exhilarating, and exhausting it's going to take us a bit to digest any of it for posting. We will, however, make two points:

• Between the small show at Freddie's and the huge show at Capitol Pride the Mesmers had their best two shows ever. Seriously. We'll explain why in a day or so, but these really were our best show to date and we're all a bit giddy from the success.
• Big thanks to everyone who helped make these show work. From Dave and Alex who played with us, to Tony and Freddie for giving us the shows, to our spouses who endured the mania with us, and to all the friends and family who took time to come out and see us -- it was great seeing so many familiar faces in the crowd!

On that last point I personally would like to say I'm sorry I couldn't get out front after the Pride show to say hi to everyone. I had no idea it would take as much time as it did getting everything stowed away and settled in the back. We'll have to schedule a more mellow "hang out" gig here soon where we all get a chance to visit.
