Pandora Internet Radio of the Music Genome Project is a fascinating listen. Signup for a free account (or pay for an add-free one) and you can have their Pandora Player dig up of music similar to any artist or song you throw at it.
It's very good at matching musical parameters, but not surprisingly, stumbles at matching songs' emotion vibe. Two songs can be virtually identical in parameters (tempo, key, instrumentation, etc.) yet possess wholly different feels. Still, it does a surprisingly good job and musicians may find it very useful in isolating what makes certain tunes tick.
And yes, we've submitted our album for inclusion as well.
